Congratulations New CLMR
Steve Kelley
Steve Kelley, principal of Pinnacle Lighting
Agency in Coppell, Texas,
recently earned the Certified
Lighting Manufacturers’
Representative (CLMR) accreditation from the ALA.
A native of Birmingham, Ala., Kelley
earned a BS degree in Marketing from
the University of Alabama–Birmingham
(UAB) in 1995, and, after holding
sales jobs in retail salon products and
transportation, took a chance on a job
offer from Juno Lighting Group’s Dallas,
Texas, office in January 2000.
“The in-depth lighting industry training I received from Juno was invaluable
to me as I began my career in lighting,”
said Kelley. Coupled with that
training and a strong belief
in customer service and rela-
tionship-selling, Kelley created
Pinnacle Lighting Agency in
2003. The agency represents
lighting manufacturers in
the North Texas/Dallas/Fort
Kelley believes “the CLMR certifica-
tion, along with active membership in
the ALA, is an essential part of being a
professional lighting rep. The certification
helps show manufacturers that they have
a strong, committed representative of
their company, and it shows customers
that they have a knowledgeable, reliable
partner who can help them be successful.”
